12.15.07 | Commission from Boston Musica Viva!
Derek was recently commissioned by Boston Musica Viva to write a piece for February 2009, for their annual Family Concert. It will be a setting of a yet-to-be-determined story for the standard Pierrot ensemble plus percussion with the addition of narrator and Marimba Magic, a 6-person youth percussion ensemble.
